so glad i decided to wait until noon (2pm here) before i left town to grab one of these root beer tea dudes. i was going to wait until i got back, but i see they have all sold out. so, *whew!* love the subtle structure of the paint app on this handpainted run. this is my first globby related pick up, looking forward to holding the little bastard in hand. great job on these bwana! and the custom versions are/were pretty damn tempting too...

I snatched up one of these too, loved the customs but they were out of my toy budget for the week. My first pocket globby, I can't wait for him to get here!

Since we're talking Spoons x Garg, this dude showed up yesterday, not from the Globby customs but from the week before, "The Learning Project" didn't see a thread for it, so screw it, I'm showin' off here.

that looks rad! how do you like Bwana's airbrush work vs his normal customs? the airbrush looks alot cleaner but to me it lacks some of the touches that make Bwana's customs come alive. just curious as to what you think

I'm not into his non airbrush customs, I'm just not into that style. But these all seem really nice, I have 1 issue, it's sticky as hell! Can I spray something over it to make it NOT sticky! My issue is, is I don't just look at my toys, I pick them up and mess around w/them, so being sticky sucks. Also I have my stuff "open air" so dust WILL grab onto this guy and make him like Moss Man, I'll have it flocked hahaha! For now he's in a bag/box because I fear it's safety from the dust monsters.

Anyway, visually it's killer. The head is clear, body is solid black, but it's all sprayed red so the blend in at the joint pretty nice. Also the dots make it fit well w/ Bwana's "stroyer" like of figures. This guy has some charm.

Sticky issue same with my Cosmo Hedolan. First i thought the paint would dry off in awhile, but until now since I bought it, its kinda dust/dirt magnet.

Sorry to derail but...is that killer based on clear grey vinyl?
I have that exact same killer...i got it from Koji, with the orange standard. I had previously thought, until seeing your post that my blue was a one-off custom. Guess not though.

Yeah, I dunno. It's a double edged sword: This thing's fantastic visually, and great to look at but I handle my toys a lot and keep them out & the stickyness grosses me out and adds fur.us I may have thought twice if I knew. Not bashing Spoons or the paint job, but this is more of a 'hands-off glass case' type figure. Despite its Moss Man power, it's a beaut!

yeah, my bwana cosmos hedo is also pretty damn hairy from the stickiness. what does he use for paint that would cause this?

The Killer is a custom from Koji, and yes, it's based on clear gray vinyl. It's the only Killer I have, so I'm not super sure if there are versions like this one...I know I've seen a similar job with orange paint.

The Dokugan is from the 09 LB. It's my one and only kaijin and I'm definitely loving it. It's got a much more rainbow/metallic feel than the other bp kaijin figs I've seen.

My kingdom for that vegan straightedge freddy krueger globby. For serious.
