 Magnet Dinos!
Arrrrrrrgh! Well I missed out on two toys I REALLY wanted today, this is the second time Tokyobuyers has blundered (and a major one--they entered the wrong amount for my max bid, which was well above the winning bidders). I remembered that someone posted a pic of their magnet-headed dinos, and I stumbled on two auctions a few days ago. Can someone please tell me a little bit more about magnet-headed dinos? Are they hard to come by? What is a "normal" price range for them? These were made by Nakajima. Ending Price: 3433 yen Auction Description: Expression can be replaced neck Soft Vinyl Monster Magnet SEISAKUSHO Nakajima [pre-owned] Possible replacement neck NAKAJIMA SEISAKUSHO expression Magnet] [Soft Vinyl Monster pre-owned beauty products. Re: Magnet Dinos!
I was watching these also, and was *this* close to bidding on these. Unfortunately, I had to let them pass. That first one is great!
These are especially cool, because this isn't the only example of magnets in vinyl that they did. The special Groizer one is similar. I wonder what else they did in this fashion.

 Re: Magnet Dinos!
Yeah, I really need to track down that magnetic Groizer, Myles. I had a chance on one a while back, but passed because it wasn't minty enough for my tastes.
Ah, so foolish!

 Re: Magnet Dinos!
There were a few magnemo super robots, weren't there, Brian? Danguard Ace...maybe Combattra?
But they were Popy, right? Not Nakajima?

 Re: Magnet Dinos!
Those magnet dinos are soooo great! I imagine they are pretty tough to find.

 Re: Magnet Dinos!
The Gaiking is Popy, not sure on the others as I do not have them. That is a question for Sjoen.

If we're talking magnetic vinyl here is grail: Nakajima Groizer X The SUPER mac daddy is the Poem Govarian brogged about here by yours truely: http://toyboxdx.com/brog/?p=632Are there others we have not covered here?

 Re: Magnet Dinos!
So technically the Gaiking is Bandai. I want that toy badly.

 Re: Magnet Dinos!
Saw at least one auction on YJA for one of Mr. H's magnets. The babelfish translator made a hash of the description that sounded halfway between mysticism and physics. I passed on utterly baffled. Too bad, because they seem to be really awesome toys!
