I think I know the answer, but I also am ready to be surprised. After seeing Lixx's LB Crawling Hedo the other day, I am curious as to how many FULL SIZE Crawling Hedo versions Gargamel released, thus far. Also, it seems to me that there are quite a few more Standing and Walking FULL SIZE versions than Crawling. Anyone know why?

I think there's a clear one and the Pink GID had 2 different eye colors.

As far as I know there are 7 - the ones in the pic plus clear (which I bought off an SB member and never got) and also the orange/blue (which I had but traded for the clear blue painted standing at back right)

There could be more but i've never seen any...

I like the eyes used on these guys... The gold discs get tiresome after showing up on so many figures.

Never knew there were differences, but my clear has silver eyes.

Not sure if this guy was ever produced. Looks like a non-glow version of the orange glow one. I desperately want one, but I'm pretty sure it'll never happen.

I believe the orange with brown was for the thrash-out 2nd Anniversary? It is the full size version of the mini shown on the far front left. I am still trying to track down those two minis from the 2nd Anniv.

underrated toy. my 2nd favorite full size gargamel piece, next to big zag. the tail does make him a shelf hog though.

I think we're due for a new full-size Crawling soon!

It is just a reflection that makes the silver eyes on the clear appear that way in the photo.

Crawling Hedoran is my favorite hedoran! I'm hoping Gargamel will correct the (IMO) mistake of the "glow from the inside" double cast crawling hedo and actually make a standard one out of straight gid vinyl.

This could be one of the only things that would make me buy one. I'd love to have a trio of Hedos, but am yet to see a Crawling that I really like. It's my least favorite of the three Hedos...but a glowie would have a chance of winning me over!

Hahahaha I like the GID from the inside, I think the orange one is the 2nd best of these. BUT I sure hope they also do a normal GID, I'd just like a big version of the LB mini that was glow.

I agree with Paulie, 2nd best FS sculpt by Gargamel, might tie for 1st for me actually. It was the 1st "kaiju" sculpt to grab me back when I only cared about fight figures. Damn, I need to get that painted silver/pearl grey Lucky Bag one again, it's #1 and the paint is killer. The little bit of blue leaking out of the mouth, fantastic.

Don't get me wrong, I own the 'glow from the inside' crawly, and really love it. I just wish the glow was a little stronger. You really have to work it to make it glow and then it fades really really quick. Good concept, just not very bright.

I agree with you 100% on making a standard LB style glow crawling hedo. That would rule so hard!

As I pondered this post over again, I really am curious why Crawling hasn't gotten the same attention as the other two Hedo brothers. Clearly, collectors are fans, so why no love? I mean, there are numerous colorways of the Standing and Walking, my vote is to get Crawling BACK into the regular rotation!

I think a lot more people collect the other 2, part of the reason seems to be space since the crawler is long vs. tall. I'd also like to see full sized Hawaiian versions of this guy and the standing Hedo, but hell, no rush.

And how about the other standard Hedorans while they are at it? I know I have been waiting. The only other GID standard Hedo is the green walking (one of the best Garg figures ever IMHO), but even as badass as he is again he is a doublecast.

I think across all makers crawling/quadraped monsters will always be doomed to be less popular. I always assumed it was due to their shelf hogging nature and the arguable lack of uniformity when displayed with the more abundant standard 9" biped.

Desperate for a glowing Hedo, I filled mine with GID frogs from the craft store...I have to get around to taking pics, it's sweet! At least I think so

Thatz so cool! I would totally love seeing that picture. I gave my niece the mini Crawly (clear pink) and she said, 'I think this would be cool if we filled it with something...' I told her to have at it, and she filled hers with these awesome clear, multi-colored marbles. It looks great.

I agree Jeff, this was one of the first sculpts that piqued my interest. I was meaning to to track down the painted silver flake and clear pink, at some point that mission was surpassed by bemon and anraku. would be great to get a really well painted one to draw me back.

Anyways, more on-topic...I meant to say, from glowing photos I've seen of the double-cast Walking Hedo, the glow power seems to have worked out to be a lot stronger than that of the double-cast orange Crawling. If this is the case...I want one!

They both look really great in glow mode ...but they needed a good 'charge' with a strong bulb for the pics!
