Answer found, thanks all you guys.....(closed)
Hello to all board members:
I'm very enthusiast with anraku works, I like drunk boy and gogamezilla sculpt the most. Like most of newbie collector, it very hard to score it.
I know that bemon production are usually stated inside of the header, usually around 10, 20 or 40.
Just wondering anyone knows the estimate quantity of anraku production especially the drunk boy 1st n 2nd and gogamezilla hp or clear unpainted. I m confused on how difficult to score any of the anraku ansaku toys, but some how I find alot of people owning it. Just wondering is the quantity is so small that not all the collector can own one? and there is no any clue on the quantity, no numbering or any.
Sorry if the question was asked before......
Thanks for reading

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
edition sizes for anraku are not really published or set in stone, as is the case with most of the japanese companies.
if you like something it shouldn't matter, and if the edition size is low then you just have a more fun hunt ahead of you.

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
i think asking about edition size is a valid question for Anraku stuff... now he/she knows that the number is low enough where you need to pay stupid money to get one. I dig drunk boy, but i know enough to not bother (unless i get incredibly lucky)

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
yes the lineup is way to long and I might be the last person (new member). I liked anraku is not because of the limitation instead I like the sculpt and the feeling that just not a toy, simply an art. but honestly there is some anraku sculpt that i dont like.

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
Someone actually started a new thread asking about run sizes and people are being nice.
Complaining about white noise, +1 posts, PM posts, and the board becoming irrelevant doesn't make much sense if this type of thread gets a pass.
Gone is the (far more interesting) SB forum where this guy would have been virtually tarred and feathered for this.

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
Doesn't a thread like this pop up every now and again. A new collector joins and becomes mesmerized by the charms of Anraku, Ah Anraku you are a cruel temptress.
I don't know about runs, just be willing to plop down $600+ when they pop up on auction and you will be on your way to a fine Anraku collection.

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
I remember the days when there was a public online auction for a Goga on this board. The days before fixed prices in BST.
I think the winning bid was $300 for a clear with guts.

Gone is the (far more interesting) SB forum where this guy would have been virtually tarred and feathered for this. I was being nice because he's a Fresh Meat and obviously didn't bother to use the search function. none of us know how many of the figures anraku makes are put out. i know that my vader dako was limited to around 10, and i think only 3 made it overseas. another collector who has one might be able to tell you better. i've been told other numbers for some of the other figures, but rather than speculate if the number is correct, i think enjoying the figures for what they are is far more important. nobody knows. don't ask. (better krudler? )

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
I just thought people were being nice because his post read pretty clearly as a sincere one...unlike the countless ones trolling for information that have nothing to do with actually liking the shit.
I think this guy was trying to gather an understanding of how hard the road was going to be. now he should know...I'm thankful as hell for the one AA piece I own.

I'll buy a flight ticket leaving Indonesia as well. Would like to see those in person. Again sorry if I cause any trouble or offended anyone by starting this thread.

This thread reminds me online gaming, where sympathetic people are just being told they are noobs because they ask politely about a trick of the game.

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
plasticXO wrote: This thread reminds me online gaming, where sympathetic people are just being told they are noobs because they ask politely about a trick of the game. It's more like those of us who know anything about the figures have done lots of work to get that information. Using the "search" function or asking a few collectors privately where to start looking. Searching flickr and Google and other source sites, translating blogs, lots of little but tedious things to get that information. I didn't get an easy pass, and that's what really enriches the whole experience. That's what makes someone appreciate this stuff so much more. That's how friends around here are made, a lot, sharing that experience. I could never sell any of my Anraku unless there was some dire personal tragedy in my life, partially because they're my favorite figures, but partially because it took so much work to get any and get any information. More than just "that looks cool, I like it, where can I buy it?" Then giving up when there's not easy answers. I'm not bashing this guy for asking, but generally edition sizes are taboo on this board/with these toys overall, not just Anraku. Very few kaiju/fight figure/Japanese vinyl producers toss out the edition numbers. Plus I don't think it would matter. Look at the 2 headed Bemon. There's 30 each, 4 runs total. That's a good amount, but they sell for $600+!!??!?! There's a lot of RxH figures sitting in shops that, according to some sources, are more limited than any of us realize but no one is buying them. It's a valid question, but I doubt it would change anything. The people out there who have no patience and lots of money still wouldn't care and bid things up beyond belief screwing a larger collector community, and themselves (they could save money with patience.) Blah blah blah, sorry, if I'm off base with anything, someone please chime in.

 Re: Anraku Ansaku production edition....
No you're totally right Jeff.
Sincere or not, we all know that edition size is a stupid and redundant topic that rears it's ugly head once every few months.
It's cool that he asked, he's new and didn't know. We told him nicely.
Like you said Jeff, none of us always get an easy pass and we all do research on this stuff because we love it. It's not as easy to find information about it and using the search function here can be your friend!
