i read that just fine, but the top photo appears to have hair. I was curious is they put the zip face head on another version of the body closer to the vintage piece. or did the vintage have multiple head like the sb dog?

Looks like the hair was dyed and cut. The hair is pretty long and fragile (in a pony tail) on the vintage ones. There is actually a book on punk rock photography and the author has a collection of these with teased hair metal hair on the back cover, I'll try to dig out my copy of the book.
