Death and Taxes
mm, well this is bound to attract a good slagging off, but I have NEVER been afraid to profess my love for Jled (altho the endless [expletive deleted] are a bit much to bear). Anyway, Joe opened his Death and Taxes Show on Saturday night at CoproNason. Great show, hard to tell, but the textural work in his backgrounds have taken a step forward, and a couple of pieces employed collage backgrounds...otherwise it's business as usual...which is just fine by me! If it's not broken etc..... Spotted a couple of Skullbrainers in attendance, and Joe is always friendly as fuck. Didnt take pics of teh art, but u can see 'em here: http://www.copronason.com/joew/index.html#3Coasterbear and Joe: Giant Mr Bunny Bronze: My favorite; Cat-Zilla: Joe and yet another drooling fanboy (ugh):

Digging that cat-zilla. Not bad for $2,000.

Re: Death and Taxes
Considering the effort, details and size of the pieces I think the prices are very reasonable (and highly tempting)

Bar the Mr Bunny and Firecat i've found his toys to be a huge disappointment...his paintings on the other hand are getting better and better.

I hear that G! . . . whilst WW (according to rumour) seemed a little shady in their dealings with Mr Ledbetter, his involvement with KR (KRap QC) and Toy2R (million variation overdose) kinda killed the buzz for me . . . would still love to snag a Lava Bunny to complete the WW set though!
