 Sealer/Varnish and GID? Hi all,
Quick question... does applying a clear sealer coat of any kind (gloss, matte, whatever) affect GID function at all? For example, I have an unpainted GID vinyl that I want to paint a bit. I want the paint I apply to be durable, and obviously I am only going to apply selective paint apps and leave most of the GID vinyl exposed... if I applied any sort of sealer coat to the figure to protect the paint, would the GID-ness of the vinyl be affected at all? Would it glow as brightly or be able to absorb as much light if it had a clear satin varnish or anything like that?

Re: Sealer/Varnish and GID? Theoretically GID would be affected by a clear sealer with a high degree of UV protection, but I haven't noticed it with the Krylon gloss at least. Don't know about the matte yet.
