My two Cheshire Cats arrived today. I expected to like the original and love the black. As it turns out, I like the black and love the original. The original looks much in person than I expected, and yep, the stripes do glow! They don't glow as brightly as the eyes and teeth, but that's OK.

The main drawback of these figures is the cost. I imagine working with Disney is expensive though, so the high price is understandable.

ok, i have beef. i got my black cat today and its busted. first thing i notice is this big old doo-doo mark on his teeth--it really obvious and looks even crappier when it glows. then i checked him over carefully and found he has a bunch of places where the vinyl has been gouged out by something. am i wrong in thinking the quality on this cat blows? everyone else seems happy with theirs, so i dunno if my cheshire is a dud, or if im overly sensitive to this kinda stuff.

thanks augie, i think its pretty unacceptable on a $100 toy. i wrote to span, so hopefully they can replace it with one that isnt jacked.

edit: span got back to me super quick to replace the cat.

The one you got is jacked fo' sho'. I got a black and it's very clean. Hope they swap it out for you.
