I saw an interview with George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher from "Cannibal Corpse" about singing. He said he just would throw on a tape of death metal and try to copy them until he got it. He also said for months it killed his throat but then it got used to it and it's fine now.

No offense to those who like this, but it just seems contrived. I don't care either way really, it's not like I'm some old dude going "ugh, unlistenable!" but it just seems boring in it's false nature, to me at least. Or is it a joke? My wife thinks it's a joke, I told her no it's just "art." I can dig SOME noise stuff and "mathcore" (I HATE THAT TERM! UGH!) but not these gents/lady.

Again, not trying to bust any ones balls or anything, cool if you like it. I won't think you suck or anything. Hell I listen to some GARBAGE ass crap and will admit it.

There's just something about those guttural growls and piggy squeals from a chick that make me all weak in the knees.

I really dig this group. There new album is real good. Lots of good mix between grind/hardcore/electronic/jaz and even some hillbilly blue grass!

A lot of their music reminds me of Between The Buried and Me, which is a good thing because they are one of my favorite bands.
