I am so happy to say I don't like this at all. Can't afford it and don't want it. Interesting to see something pretty different come from Kaws though.

I wouldn't say that KAWS has anything to do with this other than saying "yes" to letting Sorayama rework the Companion - much like the KvP Companion. KAWS created the character years ago and has done nothing since. I think the last good thing that he did was redesign the original Companion into the 5YL Companion - everything else since has either been someone else reworking his character, or something lame (unless he actually did the work on the Dissected Companion, then that would be the last decent piece of work he's done).
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing a Mark Dean Veca Chum!

i've always speculated that them getting it at "wholesale" means they're able to get a certain allotment at retail. i'm not in the loop, so i'm making assumptions... but it seems like these "retailers" are always significantly higher than buying direct.

a bit different than figures, but i did see original fake shirts at Bodega the other day for $68 with retail on the tag being 7000 yen.

i had no problem at the exact moment i went on after getting the email. site loaded and no crash.

i bet they oversold it anyway and people will get that email that always goes out. still bitter i got hosed on the jpp's i ordered last year.
