Well, I don't count 120 in there, more like 90-95. There are still about 6 or 7 in there that I really want, though. Gonna have to think about how to do this one.

I think the reason there is only 90-95 of them listed is because he says only the SB stuff is listed. There must be about 30 Gargamels in there.

The translation seems to list 3 skullwings, Frank, two of which you can see in the picture. Can't tell if the third one is the silver GID or the red one.

Dibs would end up being the tough part. Me - I have those two, so no prob, but there's a lot of desirable stuff in there that a lot of folks would want.

only be going for the skullbrains I don't have.I don't
really collect skullbees, mantis, balzac,or skullwings.I do
like Obakes and ghostfighters but my real love is Skullbrains!!!

I say you put everythiung up for sale on ebay and split up the profits. If you want a figure you have to buy it in the open market. Simple plan.

well thats one of the funiest ideas of what to do with them that I have heard yet. Basically your saying buy them then sell them and possibly have to pay more for the rarer ones and then get some money back. that is just crazy. I hope you were joking.

Seller relisted about 5 or 6 times with no winner. Disappeared with no winner a few days ago, so the seller may have decided to forgo selling them as one huge lot or has found a different way to get rid of them.

Would have been beautiful...but the people who put the stuff up for auction are apparently not in a hurry to part with it.

Thanks to Laffin Lapin for trying though.

I was wondering whether anybody ever figured out what exactly happened here? The reason I ask is that I recently found myself (still am actually) mixed up in what sounds to be a very similar incident. I wish I had read this post beforehand! I am currently waiting for my deposit to be refunded. What sucks is that I lose money on the exchange given I'm from Canada.

I recently bid on a "treasure chest" myself. Not sure whether it was the same seller or not? Ends up that 1 minute before the auction was to end the seller cancelled all bids and yanked the auction???? On inquiring with Celga into what exactly happened, they too were uncertain, but did get confirmation from YJA that the auction was indeed cancelled. Celga's only comment was that perhaps the "box of goodies" was simply put out to try and access it's value? In addition, it was confirmed that the max reserve had been met.

Bizarre to hear that this has happened previously though. Any thoughts...

Well with this one Laffin Lapin once again got a couple of us together to try for it, thanks Zach by the way, and once again they pulled the rug out from under us at the last minute and this time apparently sold it to someone off yahoo JP for $5,000.

These folks really 1/2 assed their way through the auction twice and were apparently just jerking everyone around for giggles. The first time it came up they didn't want to list everything in the box. Then they wouldn't say what the reserve price was...sketchy at best.

I'm pissed I won't get a huge SB haul but I'm kind of glad it's gone and I don't have to sweat it out again.

It would have been fantastic wouldn't it Dr. Tongue? My mind couldn't grasp getting that many SB figures all at once.

(Sigh) Someday we'll hit the jackpot.
