Post Garbage Toys
So I stepped out to take my dog on a walk last night and found this little feller on the sidewalk outside of my house. (There were a bunch of other toys too, but they were lame).

WHOA, nice garbage find! WTF, I wish people just tossed toys on the ground like used diapers where I live! This reminds me of when I was a kid and I had a "broken toy collection." Pretty much if I found the broken parts of any toy on the street, I grabbed it and kept it.

my wife has probably thought about throwing my toys out on the sidewalk. hopefully no dog walking toy collectors will be wandering by when she does.

Generally all I find are broken Henesey bottles, or greasy Popeye's containers. So Booska was like finding gold!
I found a He-Man arm and an army guy (the green guys on a plastic base) while roto-tilling my backyard! Wonder if I'll find anything when I do the front yard.

i want to see a pic of the lame toys!
and yes, definitely nice find.
if i found something like that in my yard, it would probably be one of my toys that my son drug out, scuffed up, filled with dirt, and left in the rain...

If they're still there when I get home from work I'll try to remember to take a pic - the only thing I can remember is a plush car from the animated movie Cars. Oh, and a plush Banana in Pajamas.

sweet find. I think I have the same one on my desk, bandai 1982? check the feetsies. it's a great toy too, real hard plastic with a lot of texture.

edit: oops, mine says 1992 also.

It is Bandai - I thought it was '92, but I just glanced quickly. First thing my eye picked out was the "Made in Japan" though!
And yeah, tough vinyl and very textured. You could use it to sand down a rough hewn piece of lumber!
