Thanks for the kind words! It was a lot of effort gettingvthe stuff together, and fussing over the setup - but very gratifying to see about 60% of my Henshin relted collection all in one place at one time....instaed of being in boxes.
It's there all month, so please check it out.
Cheers,
Carl

 Cybo-Invader
case bumping eh? If they go down, I'll know who did it......
The flying saucer is the Alien Invader ship, it contains the Invader command chair which is removeable and stand-alone. I'm sure you're familiar with the Invaders - there are pics of the original 8" poseable figures from 1975 above the ship, then there were the little mini vinyls, and the 10-12inch vinyls from 98. The ship was also released in the UK, and seems to look identical apart form the outer box. In the Uk it was the Cybo-invader, and was actually cyborg's preferred means of transportation across space.....sadly it had no back seat for some cybo-shag action. The clear dome raises slowly when the catch is released, and although it is essentially a huge piece of plastic, it's really nice. When I was a kid I lusted after one, and finally got one from Japan a couple of years ago.

The clear motorcycle looks really cool! I'm starting to dig cyborgs but don't know to much about them. Whats a good figure to start with?

The clear motorcycle is actually the single most commented on toy - it really looks amazing, as is almost like art in terms of construction and aesthetics.
If you like cyborgs, the vintage re-issues are a nice place to start, particularly the Devilman re-issue. If you can get it for 50-60 plus shipping, thats a good deal. I way prefer the original GI Joe style body, even tho the neo Henshin cyborgs are better made than the repros and less costly.

Am I right is saying the cyborg figure actually "becomes one" with the bike. His arms and legs join into the bike? I sure I saw that on a pamphlet.

That's right. His body forms the bike chassis. His arms and legs are removed at the elbow and knee joint respectively and plug into the front and rear suspension. His head is replaced by a transparent globe, which looks like a headlight and a an aero-foyle shape. It is so amazingly engineered and designed that he seemlessly morphs with the bike. Made in 1974, yet so ahaed of its time! You can see where transformers came from.

I didn't want to look too closely at it...I knew I would only want one!!
Must be a great centrepiece in your collection though!!
Henshin is a great toy line, and as you say...well ahead of it's time.

Yikes Mutonis! I had no idea your collection was so extensive. Aaargh! My green eyes are glowing!
Hypnotator wishes he could have come to your little gathering. Hypnotator likes to imagine he was actually there and is sad enough to create a reconstruction of what it might have been like.
The pictures of the main case are not nearly big enough. Is that TWO boxed Cocobat Joes? Are the Denys Fisher Cyborg boxes originals or copies? But of course they are originals, aren’t they? And is that a vintage Dokuro King lurking behind the vintage purple King Walder? Bigger pictures please! I can’t see the Invaders.

Yo Hypno - fresh from RobotJapan -EXCELLENT!
Those boxes are the original boxes I had when I 10 years old. Mu mum added lots of sellotape (read Scotch tape young Americans) to help em keep togther - yarrrrgh - but my mum and da kept those for years for me - they RULE!
That is all three Cocobat Joes in the bottom shelf - two signed by Pus!
I'll go to Meltdown and take some detailed pics if u like and post em here.
Cheers Matey!

I remember covering the box to my childhood Baron Karza with sticky backed plastic!
You're going to have to educate me about Medicom again; I was only aware of Cocobat Joe and Skullhead Joe. Are there two versions of Cocobat Joe?
I'm currently working on a new Cyborg photostory for RJ that's turning into a bit of an epic. Lots of photoshopping! I've bitten off more than I can chew but I'm having so much fun.
More pics of your beautiful collection are eagerly anticipated.
