I was a big fan of the Disney film The Black Hole so I'm kind of interested to check out Mindstyle's vinyl V.I.N.CENT figure. $130. I have no idea how big it is.

That's how their quality control work.
They produce 1000 and keep the 300 that came out alright, then call it "exclusive"

Watching Toy Story as a kid, I always wanted a Buzz Lightyear toy to be in the exact packaging as the movie.

Okay, that Buzz is so sick! I can't believe it took them this long to do packaging like in the movie.

Buzz looks sweet, looks like it has a lot of articulation. I wonder if there will be variants of this figure? When Mattel sells the figures in the black boxes like that, it usually means there are chase versions.

That Buzz Lightyear is a definite WANT!

I think I heard that the Buzz Lightyear is like 4 inches? A GID version would be awesome, although I think on the original figures part of them were GID too.

My first Comicon was in 2001 and even then, the most insane lines I had ever seen were the lines to get Mattel exclusives. I've never stood in one, but they sure are impressive.

hours of waiting...yes it can be hours...

last year I waited till friday around 5pm and the line was less than 20 minutes

I left it until Sunday and walked straight up to the counter . . . the days before they wound around the booth then broke and restarted running down the length of the foyer!

i like these. homemade arts are better than mass-produced ones even when expressing the same cliches.

it even has "ANDY" on the foot. My 12 inch "talking" Buzz doesn't even have that, but the wings shoot out like a jab. Doubt this new one will be just as dangerous with the wings. Packaging is definitely great though.

were all the exclusives still available?

Ill probably end up buying 4 of those Buzz figures, 2 for my little bro's, one for my daughter and one for me.
