Baltans are under rated.

I think all of those retarded full size galtans take away from the awesomeness of Baltans

Yeah, sometimes I feel that Baltans do not get enough love.

This toy rocks. Certainly one of my favorites.

Underrated? Baltan is a superstar. One could not have a proper 'kaiju' collection without at least one Baltan...imo.

Since Baltan first appeared in Ultraman episode 2 he has been seen in 9 other tokusatsu programs, and is arguably the most popular of all foes in the Ultraman universe. The toy market is if anything over saturated with Baltans...yeah some are pretty crappy (unless of course you're into Bandai or cheap Chinese vinyl)... but he still has a ton of exposure.

Though I will admit that I haven't seen an exclusive Baltan collection as some will do with other kaiju such as Hedorah. Does anyone collect just Baltan??? Cause I would love to see an army of colorful Baltans...M1's, Popys, Bullmarks, Marusans, Yamanayas, Marmit...etc.

One of my favorites as well! Glad M1 passed on the elf-shoes for Baltan 2 and emulated the chunky look of the original Maru/Bullmark Baltan's lower body.

I've been trying to amass a collection of all versions of the M1 sculpt, but it's harder than one might imagine.

Baltan and Galtan love here. No silly-ass school dance VD outbreak "You gave.. then she gave.." drama about it. :O

I love the unearthly Jumbo B-club repro and the clear coke bottle green standard repro with the one incredibly strage stretched arm defect.

I like me some Galtan too...but Baltan would still kick his ass.

Myles, that M1 is, by far, my favorite Baltan sculpt. I have the unpainted glowie of it that I'd love to do up right when I get the chance...

JAY, I think I have that mini/midsize Butanohana Baltan you're talking about. It's pink-glow and has articulated arms (unlike most mini's). Friggin' *AWESOME* toy...especially next to a mini Galtan in almost the same scale!
