been watching the stream since friday. if you missed the MvC2 finals, it was insane. right now is sf2 HD and sf4 left

just got home, cant wait to watch sf4. my friend shadyk made top 8 in sf4.

watched as much coverage as possible and glad that it went off schedule 'cause otherwise I would have missed the sf4 finals. For a moment I thought Justin was going to take it and then Daigo just re-established control. I like how Justin switches it up...I'm a big Abel player but I didn't like that choice against a Ryu of Daigo's caliber..

So are those special fightsticks going to be available at SDCC? Can anyone help me out with that? Also heard there will be an artbook available too.

Justin really came out swinging, but Daigo's adaptability is just too high. I'm sure they'll be meeting again and the matches will be even more explosive than this one. I was surprised to see Justin's Boxer was so good as I've never seen Justin play him, it's always Abel/Rufus.

supposedly theyre releasing a TE stick at sdcc. it has all white sanwa parts and no artwork. when i asked markman about the sdcc TE stick he showed me something completely different though. it was branded with all the SF4 stuff but it had orange sanwa parts instead of white. theres a matching pad too.

ill see what i can do about getting the stick, maybe markman can hook me up.

i think there is also an all white artless version of the TE coming out later this year. i need to check my sources. also plenty of places have a pre order bundle for tekken 6 with hori's new WIRELESS hrap. now i know a lot of you don't like the idea of wireless lag, but hell the controls on the systems are wireless and people play COD4 on them which take split second timing

back to sf4, i really did think justin was going to win after resetting. i wonder if he is gonna main boxer now and run rufus as backup? the one thing i regret missing is sanford's cammy vs Dan from japan. i heard it was a total lockdown. i would have liked to see diago vs him.

next year i'm going to try to go for tekken6, but the date is way to close to sdcc for me to probably pull off.

if anyone in the bay area wants to play... my bro knows some people who holds tournaments every so often at fuddruckers in concord (think they do it monthly) for SF4. usually a pretty big turn out (& free red bull!)

the tekken 6 bundle comes with a wireless stick but its not an hrap i dont think. from the pictures that i saw it looked smaller than an hrap but bigger than a fight stick. looks like a pretty decent size. i wonder if the parts will be easy to swap. if you pre order at gamestop you get a calendar and an exclusive costume for yoshimitsu and a flag as a selectable item for everyone.

i didnt get to see wong's balrog but from what i heard he won 300 matches in a row at e3 to get a world record. did you catch the first match between daigo and wong when wong used abel? his abel is really soliid vs ryu but it still wasnt enough to beat daigo.

this years evo just seemed so awesome compared to the last few years. next year will be better with tekken 6, there was a tourney this year but it was invite only. plus capcom might be revealing a new game? hopefully itll be out before evo 2010

id rather get the all white one with no graphics and order the plexi from one of the guys on srk so i can swap out the artwork.

I kinda want the SDCC one, I had to let my other TE stick go, but they're so readily available now that it doesn't matter.

i'm waiting for my order from lizardlick to queue up for new parts for my HRAP3. looks like i have another week though before they get to my order. i kinda like the massiveness of it, but i think i need to relocate the start and select button, as i've had a start+select game exit in tekken happen more then once

ive seen people re route their start and select buttons to the top of the stick much like the TE sticks. it looks cleaner that way. the only crappy thing is filling in the holes on the metal plate when youre done.
