 Re: Bruno
someone told me 9/11 was an inside job. Does Bruno roll around with fat nekkid turkish guys like he did in Borat? Don't think I can stomach that again no matter how funny the rest is....

 Re: Bruno
if that bothered you, don't see this. its probably a bit more disturbing, but i loved that scene in borat too.

 Re: Bruno
Uninspired, lazy, and just not funny. Comedy for people that don't like to think too much. I want my 2 hours back.

 Re: Bruno
I take offense. I despise moronic comedies, and I liked this. It does make you think. it is political. It exposes homophobia much like Borat did with Racism. I'll stop defending this movie, because its not my #1 favorite movie of all time or anything. I just think its entertaining and says a lot about our society.

 Re: Bruno
If it takes films like Borat (which I liked) and Bruno to expose people to racism and homophobia, then we're beyond help.

 Re: Bruno
well, it exposes people AS racists & homophobes---i'm not saying the audience didn't know what it was before seeing it, but I sure love knowing that Ron Paul is caught on camera calling someone queer.

 Re: Bruno
But the character IS queer. Right? So whats the point. If I was one of the people he tried to dupe or offend, molest, etc I would be on camera calling him a f****t.

Ron Paul was told he was going in to be interviewed on Austrian Economics. When he arrived in the studio there was a ton of commotion and he was told that he better relocate to another room. The 'other room' was a set dressed up as a hotel room. Paul was tricked...and had a completely normal reaction. I would have done the same thing or maybe worse. I have gay friends and work alongside many gays and have for many years but I wouldn't want to be tricked into a situation like that. Queer...whatever, Queer Eye for the straight guy, Queer as Folk, TV shows with queer in the title. Bruno is nothing more than an extreme kind of candid camera. Calling it anything else is a real stretch. Anyone put into a situation where they are slapped in the face with someones sexuality...no matter what it is...is going to have an intense reaction.

 Re: Bruno
The ironic thing is that my gay friends are way funnier than Bruno.
