 DAIMON - Kaiju ! Hey Skullbrains, I just wanted to share this super freakin new kaiju I just picked up this week off the bay ! This guy is called DAIMON. I really dig the whole look of this figure, measures around 9 inches tall with the enlongated dome. I have gone ahead and also ordered the movie this demon is from, it is called Yokai Monsters, supposed to be very cool for it's day, I believe it was released in '67-I think ! I've heard of that Yokai Monsters movie, I think Rue Morgue Mag had a write up about it not to long ago, and it sounded pretty cool, I've never seen it anywhere though.

yeah the Daimon is a pretty freaky figure. actually the yokai monstes are pretty freaky!! i have some of them
but those are the small figs made by Tomy.... sold in blind boxes. i think this ones is the series 2 coz i have seen another set before (just be toys used to have them).
the yokais in this series are: (from left to right) Daimajin, Daimon, Karakasa Kozo (the umbrella guy on top) Abura Sumashi and Hitotume Kozou (the cyclops)....

DAIMON-GLO I just recieved my DAIMON GLO figure today. Now i'm not sure wich one I like best. I really dig the figure though. Great size and great sculpt. Lemme know what ya think. Same sculpt? The glow looks a little bigger.
I have to go with the glow version for fav though. Nice pick up Shifta.
