They have a pretty formidable army of fans, pretty dedicated. Tattoos and necklaces aren't anything! There's some Juggalo couple who had a child and the child passed and they decorated the coffin with ICP shit and dressed the baby in ICP shit. I'd try to find the link and post it, but there's no point, it's just really sad in the end. I'm a fan of bands/music but not so much to grind it into my life so much that it defines me beyond all else.

Aren't all ICP fans the victims of mothers who abused drugs/alcohol while pregnant? I mean, just look at that guy in the Clippers jersey (actual ICP member) - even with all that make-up on you can tell his mom was doing meth, or at least drinking a bottle of schnapps every night. I saw him being "interviewed" on TV a while back, and he is borderline retarded - there are people in the Special Olympics with greater cognitive ability.

I dunno, I give them a little credit. Not musically, but look at how much cash they've raked in by snaring people into this collective fan base or "family" where they spend what little money they can get on merchandise vs. food/savings/school, etc.

I can't believe ICP is still around either! Actually, I don't even know that they are - this is the first I've heard of them in years. But I suppose that doesn't mean anything...I don't exactly have my finger on the jugalo pulse.
And I would say that they are a segment of white trash. But I'd much rather be called WT than a jugalo! I've got to believe that something redeeming has come from WT culture at some point, but I can't say the same for jugalos.

Well as far as I know they ARE around. Releasing albums? I dunno, doesn't matter though for them. All they gotta do is tour and sell shirts and crap, they're good, and that's still going on.

From what I know about them they were SUPPOSED to disband at some point, something to do with their whole "storyline" (yeah, they have one) but after what was going to be their last album, I think they still shucked crap out. The money was there, right?

Anyway, trashy people come in all colors, sizes, genders, financial classes. Juggalos go beyond all that if you ask me. But see, that's the thing. We'd say "oh you're just trash" or something and they get all high off it like "HELLZ YEAH WHOOP! SCREW YOU!" so it's like not even worth it. I've dealt with hordes of them working at the record store I did for every signing or release.

I think a lot of white trash are the victims of lead poisoning and other environmental toxins. Poor early childhood diets, drug abusing parents, etc. I don't demean them as much as I used to b/c I think it is far more complicated than just a bunch bad DNA breeding with bad DNA. I do give the OWNERS of this entertainment group credit for getting that money for t-shirts and necklaces when it should go to FOOD not made in a deep fryer....
