pictures of gators n stuff... photo heavy?
i just moved to Ocala which is "horse capital of the world", horses are cool, but gators are cooler. i went to "silver springs" where they filmed alot of old stuff, episodes of the million dollar man, 6 of the first 10 tarzan movies, creature from the black lagoon, tom cruise got his ring back there in legend, i think even a bond movie. crystal clear year round 72F water flows from the springs, and its like 98.7% pure. they have glass bottom boat rides which are captained by funny informative old men. alot of really neat history, VERY beautiful place, alot of cool stuff to look at. anyway i thought some of you might like some of these pictures i was able to take. if you happen to be in the area for some reason tis totally worth checking out. and dont forget to go into the gift shop by the gators and buy gator food, it looks like owl pellets n u get a bag of em to throw at the gators.
this is the biggest rodent in the world, a capabera or something. this one actually has a friend cat who hangs with him... or did the last time i was there, i hope the gators didnt get it. when i first saw it i told the keepers cuz i didnt want the cat to be eaten, but they said they kinda grew up together. i was disappointed i didnt get a picture of them together.
albino alligator. tough to catch behind fogged glass.
giraffes REALLY like their heads scratched, more than the treats you can buy to feed them. just your hands STINK and it takes over 5 hand washings to get rid of this terrible smell.
these are movie props, i think for the million dollar man, and dr no? one of the bond movies anyway.
i was REALLY annoyed that i forgot to take my yamaton for pictures.
