Yeah, I saw that....these have been out for a couple years and all of a sudden Old Balance digs a bunch up? Kinda weird.

True! I thought that as well, but I still went again and purchased it. I'll let you guys know what happens. Is it possible they made more? Has that ever happened before?

Also, let's start posting some links where these Heaters are still available (if they are!), because I'd like to score a few different versions.

LET'S NOT start posting links to where the Heaters are! If you're clever you'll find them. No mystery sources. This isn't link-a-thon central. If you're that lazy or can't figure out how to search using google, PM some members here.

Also I know some people have had problems with Old Balance in the past, but I got my pink heater from them direct years ago and had no issue. You should be fine. Besides it was a ebay auction and you are protected.

The issues with oldbalance were not over how reliable/ safe they were, it was more about their methods of maximizing the profits they got selling a certain run of toys.

I visited the OB web site a little while ago and noticed that those two versions of the Heater were still available. The same thing happened a while back with the left over Blobpus stock they had as well. I wouldn't worry about whether you'll get your stuff.

That picture looks familiar!
Was taken at Toy Tokyo's booth at SDCC.
No idea when it was originally released.

It is for sale on a website? I'd buy one right now.

I LOVE the multicolored King Heater. I'd almost go as far as to say it's my favorite version of the sculpt (including the original Heater) released thus far.

I've personally only got the KT version and unpainted black with yellow eyes.

Boy Lixx that one is a beaut! GID? Love the yellow eyes.
I have to stop looking at this thread. I'm getting the Heater fever and I can't afford another illness.

Yeah it is GID. I've noticed something the other day about figures I collect. The common theme is 90% of my favorites have yellow eyes. Also it seems most toys have one of the following eye colors.... yellow, red, silver, gold or white. I have way too much time on my hands. :|

I think the last 2 releases at Superfestival have both been runs of unique paints, sort of one-offs, though lots use the same colours.

If anyone has one of these "one-offs" please post pictures... (and let me buy it from you) :o

Also, I was able to score a sweet Black Heater "Hot Rod" set yesterday! Really excited to get it.

What is the difference in those 2 GID blues? They seem to have the same eye color in the pic? Any one know?

I'm sad about this. Ever since the King Heaters came out not much by them. Personally I like the old school versions of the heaters better. I did see a pic of a new King Heater from SDCC in Joe's pics. Besides that and weird Ultraman combo's that's it it seems.

So anyone have Flynn's group heater pic they can send me?

C.

This one?

One came with an LED inside and a 3.75" disk. Not sure what was on the disk though. It was limited to 10 I think.
