Say what you will, I think these are pretty cool (especially the vintage guts one). To be released in January, TT has them for pre-order already @ $80 a pop.

I'm on the fence as to carrying these at the gallery. Normally I might be apt to picking up Romanelli stuff as I like to support artists around our neck of the woods, but ultimately I'm not feeling these at all. And, we'd be cheaper than TT. lol

then why not carry it? undercutting is a surefire way to make nice, long standing relationship with a company like Medicom.

A) I usually have to like the product if I'm gonna carry it

B) Medicom can give a good shit about most, if not all US retailers. If they did, they wouldn't limit their products to the US, nor would they delay the release of their products like they do with the US

C) A turd is a turd no matter if it's been dipped in gold and covered with shiny gems... it's still a turd

Medicom establishes relationships with companies that appreciate them. I'm no Hello Kitty fan...and Medicom isn't perfect (no big company is), but I think these are actually pretty nice looking pieces.

carry on...you've got your business model cemented, so no need to rage against the kitties or the price.

Was I raging? I didn't think I was... Having dealt with Medicom for quite a few years now, I would have to respectfully disagree with you. Oh, and thanks a bunch for the passive aggressive slag

Don't really want to step into the middle of this, but I really like this toy a lot and I can almost guarantee I'll be picking up the blue one. The guts. Are. So cute.

i kinda like the guts version, but if there were clear with some kinds of guts insert, that would be a whole 'nother story.

I love these. I can't decide between the vintage or the normal guts.

The vintage set is way cooler. I'm not buying these, if they were like some super-cheap candy toy, yes, but not a VCD. I still appreciate them, however. Very fun, something really off about seeing Hello Kitties guts, even if they're cute.

No there wasn't at all. You may want to read it again. Or have an adult read it to you and then maybe explain it to you.

I don't personally care for them. If that's a slag then you must be a really, really sensitive little guy. Here's a big hug. Feeling better

I doubt Lorne gives a rat's ass that you dislike a toy. I bet he has more of an issue with you taking a shot at T.T. He stepped in to defend. Nothing over-sensitive about that.
