I got there late. Had lunch with Eric but didn't bother to line up for the mall. We walked by it on the way home and it was pretty crazy. I'll probably check it out next month. It doesn't look like they're totally finished cause the top floor of the mall isn't set up yet. You can see it from the outside. The shelves are up but there are still boxes lying around.

that line stretched all the way up to where the denny's used to be, with no sign of slowing, also you could see people on the second floor lined up. you probably will have to wait till next month to actually roam through the place without being smashed up against someone else.

it was insane. I didn't realize they were going to make such a huge circus out of the opening. It was like Cherry Blossom Festival with the street closed off. Way too hot with one too many Lolitas around for us to wait in line.

i got there at around 4:45pm and the gallery was closed. there wasn't really anything else interesting.

went in today after seeing district 9, and here is the rundown:

basement area is viz theater
first floor are toys and book (half the shit is for display only and not for sale)
second floor is clothing if you want to call it that
third floor is superfrog gallery

if you go before oct 25th, you can see the awesome installation by famed Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano.
