Post Need a lift from SD to LA on July 23 (last day of SDCC)
Can anyone give me a lift from SD to LA on the afternoon or evening of July 23, the last day of the SDCC? If so, please PM me. Willing to pay $30 for gas. I will have a suitcase and backpack so I don't want to use public transportation.

Pls PM me if you can help out.

thx

andy

LOL I don't mind GH for such a short trip. It's more of a logistical issue about getting my stuff to the GH station, and from there to my LA destination. If I can stash my stuff at a left-luggage place at SDCC on SUnday, I might go the public trans. route (if all else fails)

Greyhound= Flask sporting army jacket wearing mumblers with large pocket knives, a love of Bill Cosby and all matters to do with the occult.

I've rode Greyhound twice across the U.S.
I would suggest walking

It's funny/sad because it's true...if we start trading Greyhound stories though, we'll need a whole new forum...

Just so you know, they do have this there. My husband and I did it last year. In fact, it allowed us to get into the exhibition hall early before all of the line-standers. 8)

Thanks Laura. That's something I really did need to know!

So that makes things even easier. I basically will need a lift from the SDCC-> a place in LA on Sunday.

(BTW, I've also criss-crossed the USA several times, on a combo of train, bus, car, plane....everything but cart and buggy. ;) Last year I traveled from Texas up to Indiana, then eventually over to Virginia, and up to MA. Good trip. :O)

I've had several offers, so if all goes well, I should be set. :O)

BTW, traveling across the US on Amtrak is pretty cool, especially from Denver to Sacramento...

No, but NYC-> Seattle is, with parts of Canada added in for good measure. ;)

The cross mountain bit was the best part, scenic wise...
