 Grotesque *NSFW*
Grotesque *NSFW*Quote: Billed as "the cruelest Japanese splatter movie," a girl and her boyfriend are mugged and kidnapped. When they wake up they find themselves bound and gagged in a torture chamber style basement. So begins a slow and sustained assault on the captives. You will want to look away as the couple are gradually hacked, mutilated and degraded. Definitely not one for the faint-hearted! Watch it online! http://milledrive.com/videos/28398/Grotesque_2009_.html

 Re: Grotesque *NSFW*
This was just banned in the UK. From what I gather though it is basically Guinea Pig. Had it not been banned in the UK, I'd have had no interest in watching it whatsoever, but... now that I'm not allowed, I may just have too.

 Re: Grotesque *NSFW*
Funny, just watched this yesterday. Unfortunately I have to say that I believe it is nothing but boring, amateurish and pointless crap. And don't believe the sad hype and go for the gore - this is by no means anywhere near as graphic as some of the recent genre outings, although some of the ideas are rather nasty.

The people that do the banning never seem to understand that. If they hadn't said anything about it, no one would care. But now it's Forbidden Fruit.

Worked for me, but I had to wait a minute for it to spool up. Maybe it's The Man Keeping You Down, Lash.

 Re: Grotesque *NSFW*
I haven't finished watching this yet but the sound effects are uber-cheese. And I have to agree w/ bunnyboy, this not as graphic as some other films. I guess I should finish watching it though to see if it actually does make me queezy at any point.
Thanks for sharing though Kevlo9. I wanted to watch something scary or along these lines tonight.

I just finished it and wasn't impressed. I was hoping for more gore, wasn't very graphic at all.

if this isn't all that gory, which films are?
i'm not really a fan of the genre, but was pleasantly surprised by the Hostel films.

 Re: Grotesque *NSFW*
The Guinea Pig series can be pretty gnarly, I'd check out the second one (Flower of Flesh and Blood).

if this isn't all that gory, which films are? Just watch INSIDE. Hands down one of the goriest & nastiest horror films I have ever seen. And really well made.

Watched the trailer, thinking it would be really gory.
Watched the actual movie, eh, not so much.

Martyrs and Inside are both good and way better then this flick.
