I dunno. But for not liking opaque unpainted figures I sure like that Skullbrain - the grey really shows the sculpt well. (I don't get why people like black, it doesn't show details well at all.) The mantis looks like an unpainted test pull for the grey/pink release.

I've never seen glossy primer. I'd put dollars on the fact that those are naked vinyl.

Yeah, I can't think of a grey based 'Brain...there could be and it's just slipping my mind. But if YOU can't think of one either, then I'm inclined to think that there hasn't been one.

I'm almost positive there was a grey based brain. Brain dead currently though at work so can't really place which one.
