Used to skate in the 80s playing Morissey songs in my head as much as the punk stuff. Used to get me amped and in a way still does though not as much.

1. LEGO 2. LEGO 3. LEGO They make the best toys ever designed or manufactured on this planet. EVER! Granted, they aren't what they used to be, but as long as they are still manufacturing their basic bricks, they will remain #1.

Kinda simple horses made of Lego, not a premade horse? If so that is an awesome set, especially if you have the little jaosting set to go with it. . Now I gotta go build some space sets I have in a box somewhere.

Re: Top 3 Toymakers of the Year
Nice! The yellow castle set is truly a classic. Some of my favorite sets were from the mid 80's Castle theme and the 70's-80's Town theme. Like I said before, a lot of the contemporary stuff isn't as good as that older stuff, but they still make basic bricks and if you have a good supply of them, you can reconstruct a lot of those great vintage sets. atease wrote: Baikin wrote: il_muffino wrote: 1. Re: Top 3 Toymakers of the Year
Heh, I know. I was never a big fan of Lego though.
It was pretty expensive (and still is, at least IMO) back when I was a kid here in Brazil... and I always liked Playmobil more.
Carry on gents.

It wasn't easy to pick just one, but I'd have been giving up the ghost if all 5 slots were hers. audiodifficulties wrote: Hmm really The Dreaming? I'd go with Hounds of Love/The Ninth Wave m3kcomp wrote: 5. The Dreaming - Kate Bush

Yamomark, Zollmen and Shik not in any specific order. Buta gets honorable mention, and Elegab would be on the list were they putting out GID versions of all their neato sculpts for me to buy.
