Anybody gonna make it to this in Sheffield?

Warp pay homage to their birthplace on September 19th for the next round of the Warp20 global events. Marking twenty years since the first white label release of Forgemasters’ Track With No Name soundtracked the late summer of 1989, Warp20 (Sheffield) will take place at two landmarks of British architecture.

An all-night club event will take place at the incredible RIBA Award-winning Q-Park in Sheffield city centre, preceded by a free Warp Films cinema event at the iconic Park Hill Flats - the largest listed building in Europe and currently being refurbished in a unique collaboration between Urban Splash and English Heritage. Both events are supported by Creative Sheffield.

Warp Films at Park Hill Flats features a screening of All Tomorrows Parties - The film, alongside other new features, short films and music videos.

Warp20 Night is headlined by Squarepusher playing a raved-up bass guitar& DJ show, and we are super-pleased to announce that the creators of the first Warp release ever - era-defining bleep record Track With No Name - the legendary Forgemasters are also performing! Also reforming exclusively for the occasion are Nightmares on Wax, reuniting Boy Wonder (Kev Harper) with EASE (George Evelyn) for the first time since their classic debut 1991 LP Word of Science. Lord Sabre himself Andrew Weatherall play a specially prepared DJ set, including Sabres of Paradise material alongside other classics from the era. The new generation of Warp electronics is amply represented by Clark (live), Hudson Mohawke (live) and Harmonic 313.
