It's interesting to see that when the economy is good & there is no war, most movie aliens are good and when the economy is bad and there is war, most movie aliens are bad.

The paradox being that I like it when the economy is good and there is no war, but I also like my movie aliens to be rotten to the core (Mars Attacks!, Alien, Predator, Deadly Spawn, Bad Taste, etc).

Extremely scary. I used to have it too, especially when I was a little kid. I also had recurring visitors including one that kinda-sorta looked like the contemporary alien archetype. Very glad that doesn't happen any more.

It's because of those gosh darned aliens constantly probing folks in the anus that hypnotized them into debt and the mess we are in... Aliens and foreigners and other folks that don't look like good old Americans are the reason people pay big mortgages and can't buy things!
