Re: Got paranoia?
A gentleman can only be teased for so long before the allure the hunt turns as if from rare Reisling to acerbic vinegar, and at bittersweet last the lady's beguiling two noses and three eyes softly declined. Besides, she hates Americans.

(☞゚∀゚)☞ Welcome, the New Breed ...2nd release ~ Orange vinyl with blue (+ a few) sprays. The "Hello Cowboy!!" version: From what I understand, the "Two-faced " verson may be a 'secret' release next time. i.e. mixed in with a regular version. HOW = not decided yet. (In little coffins maybe?) Minor change to the next version will also be this amended footstamp:

onibaba5 wrote: Aren't these already "secret releases"? : P No kidding, how much more secret can you get. There is no official name, not release info and no retailer for the regular stuff, now its supposed to get even harder ? Is that even possible. I love this sculpt, but how this is being released is becoming a super downer and killing the vibe. Come on guys, you obviously have some sort of relationship with the owner, throw us some info what so ever.

Selling directly to fans versus retailing them.

Anraku keeps details regarding his releases within the mailing list only with zero deliberate marketing stunt. I'd say this is more along the lines of Bemon in trying to create a ruckus and having everyone fight over them. It's working too.

That's a definite "No".
I thought Mondo covered this a while back? The maker is 100% Japanese.

Re: Got paranoia?
Why can't brands just fuckin release stuff like Zollmen where they announce a time, people email in, and there is a first come first served or lottery. It retains the "hype" if that is what the creator intends to do plus it goes to the fans, new and old.
I mean look at AA, you still see plenty of people sell in the after market given the supposed super limited releases and since Totojustice has nearly every Goga out there doesn't determine how hot the brand is when they release new sculpts does it?
I won't say I won't buy from Nag, right now it might be just a trail and error phase in how they distribute and this Jp guy might be just new to it all, like a new business venture so I give him some slack. AA however I won't ever support.

Fuck FUSU; Nag, Nag, Nag, and everyone that is behind this BS manipulation. I agree with George. This toy and the way it is appearing on this board is bullshit! I would welcome Glenn or Brian ordering this overt teasing banned completely from the board. People know I hate censorship, but a line must be drawn in the sand, if you get my meaning. Fuck its creators and it. I so wish I could have their first shipment confiscated by customs, and destroyed, if that ever occurs. The final word that I have heard is that its creator is a rat-flipper anyway, although this could be wrong. Why support this?

Re: Got paranoia?
looks like the paranoia is truly starting to kick in maybe don't look so deep into it,,,, from what i know,,this is truly an underground toy being done for friends & the love of it..not as some marketing ploy.. just because it is not being handed to everybody on a plate is no reason to get angry about it (btw,,that is SO american,,i have the money,,i want it now,,so it SHOULD be mine),,,possibly fueling the makers disdain for americans (i am only half joking )

Re: Got paranoia?
You guys should be happy. This is the first toy in a long while that has captured that "What is that, who makes it and how can I find it?" feeling that came with some of the obscure stuff (like Skull Head Butt) in the early days. Everything seems so readily available these days, I think it is good to have some mystery once in a while.

Re: Got paranoia?
The mystery and all is fine and dandy. But here it appears the mystery has been intentionally created just to capitalize on that positive aspect of collecting and to try to whip people into a frenzy, if even for a while. It's "plastic" mystery.
Bad analogy, but its kind of like creating the Monkees to capitalize on the Beatles' popularity.

Quote: "What is that, who makes it and how can I find it?" feeling that came with some of the obscure stuff ... it is good to have some mystery once in a while. Kinda reminds me of the carny-ism and "frenzy" created in the old Hitchcock/Bradbury episode "The Jar" (one of the best shows ever IMHO).
