Is there a list of all the Gatchigon releases? I'm a big fan of the sculpt but the Mook only has the first couple.

OK, I'm gonna take a crack at this:

1. blue vinyl w/ silver and black
2. clear smokey vinyl w/ GID shards
3. yellow vinyl w/ gold, blue, and black spray
4. flesh vinyl w/ green, cream, and metallic pink
5. blue vinyl w/ green, white, and red spray
6. goldmist
7. goldmist w/ red (limited)
8. clear w/ bbs (limited)
9. lil japan version (one off?)

Thanks... sounds like it's not a very long list. I can add the GID w/ silver and gold, the flesh blank, and the Black with metallic on S7... next cool new thing that comes in to S7 I figure I'll grab all the ones on there. The Mook also lists the blue with silver and black as limited. Got pics of any of te ones not in the Mook or on S7? How come Gatchi doesn't have that many versions? Not that popular?

The limited blue version is impossible to find (not to discourage you). I've been looking for one for 2 years now as it is the only Gatchi that I am missing (aside from the gifts and one-offs).

I'll try and grab a photo of my set for you.

Gatchi just has very limited popularity- much like the Borg. I think Bert and myself are the only ones actively collecting them.

akum, thanks for the help! Sounds like I'll be working to track down the smokey with GID shard one after I gnab the S7 ones, and then I'll be behind you in like for the blue. And I look forward to seeing your pics.

I'd forgotten about the brown flocked one... I hope that does indeed come out, because it's slick!

I've another question on the beige flesh blank... the Mook lists it as a show release, but it seems to be a really easy figure to find. Was the beige flesh released elsewhere, or just not popular? I've already got two, and plan on messing around with some of them, and keeping one blank, but I'd hate to be painting over something that's more limited than it seems. Seriously.

Glad to see there are some Gatchi lovers. The Hone Borg and King Warubone I can live with one or two of each tho

I gotta admit, hone borg's colorways haven't been great. I love the sculpt though. I hope Mori does more colorful/exciting with this guy.

I'm in the same boat as akum9n. missing that blue limited release...aside from the bb filled...but i can live without the bb version. i have no news on that flocked one but would totally love to have it.
i think the list for that blue one would look like this. the first 3 would go before me but not sure in what order.

I do want (oh so badly) the clear w/ bbs one though. was offered one time, but didn't have the dough.

With Mori doing all this glitter stuff, I'd love to see a gachigon done up like this. the sculpt really doesn't need any paint app to kick ass.

There were only 30 of these sold from Junkspot that day, to my recollection- yet they have been really easy to find. I've always thought that the flesh blanks were intended for custom pieces since they preceded the K-T Solid project. Most of the custom Gatchis that you see on the boards probably used the flesh blanks.

Thanks for the info! I've been using flesh blanks for customs, but haven't done a Gatchi yet. Sounds like there probably aren't that many more in the wild, but I guess the Gatchi's limited appeal makes them not a big deal.

Found one more. Shinto Gangu shop release. I know some people are tired of rub finishes, but this is a goregeous figure, and a sculpt that really takes this paint technique nicely....scwheet schweet red metallic rub:
