Post NON SDCC attendee support group
Okay we have been doing a LOT of crying. So instead of bitching all over the place I think its time we support each other.

Step 1.) ALWAYS remember "its NOT your fault" you didnt go to the SDCC its just that you couldnt help it. Maybe money or you couldnt get off work who knows, but keep it together.

step 2.) To keep this off your mind go to your collection and dust off your favorite piece and give it a BIG hug, youll feel better all of the sudden.

Step 3.) Who needs the hand painted pushead items..... pssh ... over priced pieces of plastic that could have been beter made into a d u n n y ...

Step 4.) Who am I kidding this isnt working..... :(

I'm hoping we don't see the hand painted stuff turn up on ebay
That would make me a little sick...
I just keep thinking if my friend would've gone all I would've gotten is the lame skull pirate anyway so thats how I don't care..
That and focusing all of my collecting onto max toys and small creatures i make in the basemant

All the SDCC attendees should be bleeding and in the red by now (except for the uber wealthy few) so there should be less competition for a month or two...

I really can't justify flying across the country and room and board to go to SDCC.
With the money i save, I'll fill out other areas of my collection, and wait for stuff to be put up for sale next year.

I can pass on the handpainted stuff (Pushead and Biskup) though I'll chase the future releases but missing the SB exclusives is killing me.

Or at least that's what I tell myself.

Hi, my name's "Z" and I didn't attend SDCC this year...I think I'm going to have to walk around with some choice pieces in my pants just to cope...

Hey, and what's with these lazy flippers? I've been hoping to maybe pick up a couple Gargamel things that I don't have anybody getting for me...like a Cumberlain or that smoking corps set, but there is barely anything to be had on ebay...c'mon flippers I challenge you, I'm ready to pay inflated prices, let's go! Do they just not see a market in this weird JP stuff or what?

No kidding! Cons been going on two whole days now - there simply is no excuse. I remember the flippers in old days, sigh, would've had those bad boys up on ebay Weds. night ... flippers today, they got no gumption, no ambition.

I was on vacation this week, so if I had more money, I could have gone. Transportation, food, hotels, etc. cost too much.
