was watching LA Ink episode from last night called "LA PINK" and within the first 5 minutes they were flipping through a tattoo book and they showed a red real head mutant evil tattoo.

i haven't been paying attention this season at all because of that annoying cow aubrey that joined the cast. i did like the work of one new guy in the episode i watched last night though.

As someone with tattoos, I find LA Ink/Miami Ink to be dreadful. Maybe that's just me. As for the new guy that does good work, I'm just going to guess it's Nikko Hurtado. He's very impressive.

You guys have no sense of humor. I have tattoos and those shows crack me up. My favorite parts are the "tribute" tattoos. Like "A year ago my dad passes, so I'm getting this goth-fairey with tribal and the eye of Ra to remember him by" huh? Wah? Really? Comedy gold.

It cracks me up, and if someone wants to connect me to one of the vapid idiots on that show just because I have tattoos, they're not the type of person I give a shit about and they can eat crap for being equally as vapid as the people getting the stupid tattoos on the show.

All of the fake drama amongst the cast can get pretty funny too. Maybe it's real, if so, even funnier that some people have such foolish worries in their life (says the guy who stalks toy boards in fear he'll miss a 'sweet deal')

I think it's a combination of everything I hate about television rolled into one and then personalised to me due to the tattoos.
I generally abhor reality/celebrity shows and Whatever Ink makes me want to run down the street screaming my fucking head off.

you have good points on it Jeff. i like seeing shots of LA in the show, and I think a few of the people on the show are pretty decent artists who enjoy what they do.

This show isn't nearly as bad as half of the reality crap out there. Jon and Kate anyone? that overweight bachelor show? the show about the child beauty queens? the list goes on and on

It's obnoxious (in a funny way) because now everyone wonders if my stuff is a tribute to my grandpa's neighbor's dead brother. I should come to the CASK meeting so we can discuss this further

I decided a long time ago to laugh at what I hate. That way I don't turn into an old, bitter, angry douche who talks about what's wrong in the world vs. a jerk who just laughs at it all. I can't change it, so I'll make fun and laugh at it. Turn annoyance into amusement.

i think the show definitely used to feature better artwork, i feel like its been MAJORLY dumbed down. i cant stand the "so whats the meaning" shit, and i think the shows only going to get worse, i see it going from la ink to that shop the rejects are working in. kinda like what happened with miami to la (tho that was a better change if u ask me) i just like seeing the work.

if u think this is bad reality tv you should see 18 kids and counting. that show makes me twitch and foam. i get so angry and sick when i see a second of that show.
