 SQUEAK!
Post your squeakers here. These actually stopped squeaking & 2 even turned a bit "hard" over time. I'm not sure how!

Love that 'stache dog! Here's another fave: A friend held him up at a flea market & I plowed through the crowd to grab him.

Ashland Rubber Company, Made In Ohio...squeaker! I have the bag and header for this too. It's about 30 to 40 years old, pretty good shape also.

 Re: SQUEAK!
Picked up this Paul Kaiju custom Octopus at ComicCon. This guy really lets out a good high pitched squeak.

 Re: SQUEAK!
ha, you have one too? he made two for KINYC. kirkland has the silver one with blue polka dots. I have "Rug Sample" a warthog-octopus apparently inspired by a dream of PK's they are squeak toys but i doubt that they are vintage.

 Re: SQUEAK!
thanks, its pretty much a pre-cursor to modern western vinyl. actually, putting this vintage toy next to western toys makes some of them make more sense. kathie olivas' work is reminiscent of this innocent squeaker, as are many others. the original is better.

he will rule even more if he squeaks he doesn't squeak, but he does make a "bomb" blow-up noise. I've never heard it as the battery was dead when I bought the thing new in package.

OH DAMN Koji. That's some collection. I need to fire up the squeaky thing now. I forgot to mention that Land Of Oohs and Oz in Farmingdale NY has a boat load of this stuff.
