The only and I mean the only plus I can see to not going to SDCC is that I would have spent way, way more than I should have.
Props to all who scored, you lucky bastards!

I asked the lady from wired to work RFSO into her article, if she does I get a gold star or a cookie or something.

This will probably be an unpopular post but fark it...
Why promote this board in Wired???
Rather than let it grow organically? and by word of mouth?
What is the need? or reason? I thought slow and steady was acceptable.
Hardcore types will find it on their own or through others...

I'd think the Wired article would help promote Super7, too.

But my understanding was that S7 was moving to a bigger space aka growing.
I dunno. Fast growth versus slow, steady, and solid growth.
Obviously not my call in the end.
Note, I have a hardcopy of of Wired 1.0 someplace that I bought at a newstand.
I don't care for it these days.
Bring on the yuppy blueberry types.

I feel what you are saying. It's a toss up between my love for Super 7 and wanting them to do well and succeed and my love for Secret Base and wanting to jealously guard access to the limited quantities...but I guess it's not really my call to make. Cause if it were...

I kind of see the outpouring of SB stuff as perhaps a marketing expansion. Top tier collectors are going to get whatever toys strike their fancy, via agents in japan, etc, etc, long story short, cash and hard work and dedication. The flippers exist for superfest and wonderfest and whatnot overseas, so noone cares about them, thats life. A random collector, perhaps intimidated by the size of SB's back catalogue, and the $$ that goes into amassing the older most desirable pieces, can now have something everyone not at comiccon will drool over, an exclusive that is at least instantly twice as valuable as when they bought it. Let alone a 3/3 or 30/30 or 2/2 . You get instant recognition even if you have 2 pieces, because some of the guys with 60 or 130 still want the 1 you have. Its good for everyone because collecting SB shouldn't be easy when it comes down to it.

Y'all hafta see the custom Kaws x Pus in person, pictures don't do them justice. Pushead won't tell anybody what technique or paint/s he used, but mine is a candy metallic that changes from different angles! They are so fucking cool!!! Best part is they all made it into good homes. More when I get home next week.

He wouldn't be playing about with car paint would he? There is that harlequin paint that changes in the light depending on the angle it's viewd from. Maybe Pushead has worked out a mix or method of applying it to vinyl?
These customs sound cool what ever the method.

Thats what he gets for not supprting the frame. It is a shame but if yoru gonna put all that work into such a beautiful car, you should check and double check and then check again to make sure you got it all right.
A friend of mine resored his same way john. All done in the hulk green colors. A fuckin beautiful sight to see from frame to the green glow rings in the headlights. It was a beautiful thing.

I think he wasnt planning on it producing that much horsepower-I'ts one of the msall, single carb models..Problem is he had the smaller pullies on it which produce more horsepower and compression..he fixed it and put cross members on it..Still gut wrenching to see it all mangled though..BTW sorry for the topic jump guys

Sorry to comment late, but the bandana did smell like fish! I kept freaking out, I was talking to this girl and I kept thinking it was me or something. A plastic bag tied at the top fixed the fishy little guy! I think it was just the ink, when I used to design tshirts sometimes our print shop would smell funky like that!

I've put the bandana through three woolite hand washings, and it still smells funky. I think it even repelled the Febreeze I tried to spritz it with...
