One of my favorite toy boxes ever made. nah, i didn't get it in a box. i actually don't know anything about the figure. the dude that sold me the 3 awa figures had it in his sale thread for $3 so i snagged it. i'll have to search for one to see the box. famous covers is the series or something? i really dig the fig, almost megoish with a bit of a modern twist. i wouldn't mind finding some more marvel characters like it.

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread Famous Covers was a line from the 90's of Marvel-made Mego-style figures, as you observed. Each figure was based on an iconic appearance of the character from the comics... Iron Man's was from the original run classic #126, where Stark finally confronts his rival Justin Hammer, in a fantastic knock-down-drag-out against a veritable army of costumed supervillains under Hammer's payroll. Other figures in the line include Dr Doom, Thor, Spiderman, and some X-men characters. $3 for the figure is a steal, but as a whole the line is not particularly expensive to collect. The helmet on Iron man splits down the middle and comes off, in case you did not know, from some clips at the ear-panels, revealing a really nice Stark head.

The only unpainted Gamerudon I've seen and it really shows off the killer sculpt and that crazy tongue action.
The flesh unpainted captain max compliments it quite nicely as well!
