 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
as much as i love GID, i like the previous monster patrol car better. this should be a great deal since nari is giving a special price if you buy the car and army.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
at first the monster army figures didn't do much for me, but this new set is amazing and I will definitely be trying to pick up a set...and maybe any older ones

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I had to pass on this - between that Bullmark History box set and the last 3 releases I'm tapped out. The GID patrol kaiju = beautiful, though!

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
For those who missed the complete set, the GID mini set alone should be proposed soon.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
mmm, wondering if I was unlucky again? Have people received their "I'm in" mails yet? Edit: Looking above it means I'm out...again. Thanks to a cool board member I scored the GID 'gon after flunking the lottery, so if anyone else is concerned about teh size of their MPC - please HIT ME UP

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I was lucky enough to "win" my first elegab lotto, but digging up the cash for it means i have to let my previous orange patrol car and clear gon go I'll be posting them later today in the sale forum. Desperate times...

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
Just trying to keep everything together in 1 thread. Ok. So now I talked to Nari and he said that the Human Monster: Will not be produced next. It was a decision between the Puppet Seijin and the Human Monster and the Puppet Seijin won. Next year though he will produce one of these guys. GomiOyabun OR Tunneler

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I think I want to see Tunneler put together as the next toy. What do you guys think?

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I'm for the Tunneler as well. The other guy seems like a very classic monster type, but Tunneler looks like something totally crazy.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
Nay on the tunneler. It think it's too funky, not a classic you'd want around for the long haul. And I'm worried how the trees will look if the paint application isn't just right.

I feel pretty much the same. I appreciate the exploration of other possible figures, but I prefer the classic influence of the other piece. It appears resolved and I can totally imagine this completed in Nari's style. Besides who wouldn't want a monster with a "worm turret"?

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I'm totally for the tunneler ! This toy is a sculpltor's real challenge. I love it already.
I would love to see it in a color scheme homage to kurumanikurasu.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I gotta admit, I'm not a huge fan of Elegab...but that Tunneler is hot as hell!
So abstract!
I'm sure he's not actually going to sculpt it with a tunnel that that runs from his head, out his left hand...but if he pulls off some kind of optical illusion sorta thing that matches the artwork closely, I'll be in heaven! That's just killer shit right there.
