turtle guy is totally awesome!
yamomark is really doing an excellent job at these standard sized animal/plant/human mixture figures.

Yup, that fucking rules. Green is my favorite color for sofubi, I have two shelves jampacked. I would love for a clear green version of this guy.

What I really love is that their design is really similar to the dark spirits of Barom-1 monsters.

I really like the turtle monster. Don't like the chain, though.

I bet you the chain keeps him from falling backward. I got to see the sculpt for this guy at thrashout. Thanks datadub. Really an awesome flippin' toy, and the yamomark guy is super nice. he gave me a dolphin doggy.

Agreed 100% Stone. It's one of the best new toys around. And yeah, I love that despite that, there hasn't been any hype (so far.)

Yeah, I'm all about the Yamomark vintage animal re-issues and mash ups.

Too bad I can't find any more. :(

As posted above, I think all of the LB Barabarans pictured are absolutely gorgeous - but given the choice, I’d probably have picked the blue one so I was VERY stoked to find this inside of the parcel I got today:

I think I'm in love with a mutant.

Also got the orange mini (whatever his name is  - very nice, subtle paintjob on this!) from one of the Patchi Summit 08 Hero Sets:

So what did you guys get..? I would love to see some better pics especially of the red Barabaran!

Post Re: Yamomark figures
Thanks guys! Btw, I just realized how cool the mini is – every one of the three sides shows a different, more progressed state of mutation!

So where are the others? Can't believe I'm the first/only one on here that got one (+ mine was stuck in customs for a week)..?! And why hasn’t anybody posted a glow shot of the Grumble Toy exclusive yet..?!? Something's not right here...

Post Re: Yamomark figures
Congrats bunnyboy.

I wanted the blue one too so much that I could not resolve getting a lucky bag and be disappointed...

The red would have been great too, but I did not like the green. And spending more than $100 for a toy I would maybe not like is not my cup of tea...

Thx! I'm usually also rather wary of lucky bags (and definitely don't have money to throw around), but a 66% chance of total awesomeness was a pretty sure shot to me. I'm convinced the green one is also beautiful in hand – plus it would have made a nice companion for Togegeruge! ;)

Argh, I did not think about the plant theme thing and indeed the green one would have been a nice companion to Togegeruge.

How do you know my tastes that well

I can't believe no one has mentioned the Blobpus GID Mushroom Soup man that just came out recently. Saw a few on YJA over the weekend and it's pretty amazing looking. If I had the $$$$ would have been all over it.
