Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
Damn Ian don't you love double mail days in one week? Curious how long does it take EMS to get to the UK? I think EMS should take over ever postal system in the world to be honest.

Both EMS and SAL seem to be quicker than slackers posting stuff to me within the UK! About a week for Celga shipping - I may get pissed at their charges but at least I don't have to wait long once I've paid shipping...

I ordered a few issues of Juxtapoz and was really pleased with the care they took in shipping them:

About a week for Celga shipping - I may get pissed at their charges but at least I don't have to wait long once I've paid shipping... i think the slowness of the internal royal mail at the moment has to do with all the strikes..which don't seem to be letting up either.. a couple weeks ago,,i sent some records 1st class recorded to people within the UK on the tuesday (most within 50-100miles of london) that same friday,,i posted a toy to california regular small packet airmail (nothing special)..usually takes a week by that next tuesday,,the person in california had already received their package yet the people in the UK had not received anything.. it is craziness!!! it is at the point now where the people working in my post office are not sure if the local sorting offices are on strike or not.. atleast from central london,,i believe international packages bypass the sorting office & go straight from the post office to heathrow & onto a plane..so they are barely effected by the strikes.. for lixx's question: EMS to the UK usually take 2-3days from japan (as long the nasty customs trolls don't get a hold of it & try to tax you hard then things get delayed by another day or two )
