Re: best way to pack toys for a move
thanks for all the replies... pretty sure this thread will help future movers as well. planning on packing them up the day of the move, and it's about a 30 minute drive to our new (first!) house. pretty sure they will be moved in a plastic tub, still deciding whether to pack them in bubble wrap, or within my shirts. THANKS, EVERYONE!!!

I use glad wrap think you guys call it ceran wrap. Buy a big roll of it wrap em up drop em in a box with paper or bubble wrap for extra padding on the pricey purty coloured ones. Works everytime.

Yes, congrats on the house! My toys like home owning more then apartment renting.

Re: best way to pack toys for a move
moved! i went with wrapping them in my shirts and placing them inside big trash bags. $$$ reasons. the move went smooth. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. i would have never thought of wrapping them in clothes. downside was that we were sideswiped by some of the cost of buying the house last second, so we didn't get to order stuff we really wanted for it, so the toys are displayed the same way... but this time in my office!
