Where the Wild Things Are artist versions in Vice
There's a TON of cross-promotion for the film out right now. Coolest by far I've seen is this mini-mag that Vice Magazine did - 24 artist pieces inspired by the story. Great group, including these killer pieces by Le Merde, Martin Onitveros, Skinner and Imiri Sakabashira... It's in the new issue of Vice - and also available in PDF download on the site: http://wherethewildthingsare.viceland.com/Nice iphone wallpaper, too!

Re: Where the Wild Things Are artist versions in Vice
vice is a free magazine. they distribute to select shops (clothing/shoe boutiques, record stores) in larger, urban cities. not sure if there is a list somewhere? pretty sure american apparel stores carry it. since it's not in arizona, i usually order something from turntablelab.com as they give copies free with web orders...

They usually have it at American Apparel if there's one of those nearby. The Skinner painting RULES.

I really love those anatomical drawings. I remember you did one recently, no? Spent some time yesterday looking for a book with these kind of illustrations translated into English, but no luck. Maybe I just need to learn Japanese.

For anyone interested in the anatomical drawings shown on Pink Tentacle, I stumbled across this book that's coming out in December called "Godzilla and Friends" illustrated by Mark Nagata. No inside pix, but it sounds like it'll include monster cross-section illustrations in English. Does anyone know about this book? I didn't find a prior post about it. http://www.comicsinfinity.com/p-40332-p ... er-hc.aspx
