Fuck, I hate swine flu with a passion. If you can walk into my pharmacy and ask me if you have swine flu, then you do not have fucking swine flu. You have a sore throat, at worst you have a mild cold. Do you know what the cure for that is? Putting your fucking feet up, drinking tea and watching Jeremy Kyle for the rest of the day. Now get out my fucking shop you fucking cretins. ahem. (the outburst at swearing was not aimed at you Greasebat)

Glad everything went OK for you. Some student and staff got it at my kids school. It is kind of alarming ..

It is kind of alarming .. thanks. it was scary/is scary for any parent. be it super flu or the regular version. he had a pseudomonas onfection on top of it all. felt so bad for him, but he was a total trooper! even with the multiple iv sticks! damn nurses never get that stuff on the first try, especially with people who can't handle needles (such as kids)!

 Re: Swine Flu
well, good to know it was not the bad one. A six year old that's a little feverish/delerious can be funny to listen too.
Glad to hear your kid made it through, 4 nights in the hospital, that had to be rough.
I could imagine working in a pharmacy right now would be pretty aggravating, as if it isn't maddening enough in the first place.

So in your case, it was likely to be flu. It's weird though, one shop I work in will do about 30 Tamiflu prescriptions a day, and i'll work about ten mins down the road, slightly different health authority and they've not dispensed any for weeks as the Dr's are using common sense as to when to prescribe it.
