The first picture is for a campaign going on at SB. Spend 10,000 yen between 10/10 and 10/31, and you get a "Halloween Novelty." This may have to do with the picture of snacks Hiddy posted on GBT a few days ago.

The second link is to a mobile-only download site to buy a wallpaper/icon set for your phone. The first one was a pretty boring Convex wallpaper with a skullbee helmet, but this new Halloween one is awesome. The page won't load in a normal browser, and as my phone is my only non-film camera, I can't take a picture of the wallpaper.

I just tried to add it as a friend with the new blackberry messenger and it opened a link in my browser but it won't load. If the site it was trying to load is anything like the Secret Base site I can't load it on my phone.

It's linked, but I'm guessing since the site uses a special billing process, you must access it with a Japanese mobile. I'll try to get a picture of my phone...of the website...if people are really curious about the wallpaper.

Why even post a link like that if you know it's not true?
Rumors "spreading fast" indeed.

Didn't think anyone here is stupid enough to believe it.
But I've edited it because there actually just might be.

yeah well for the uninitiated, after a long week of work, they click the link and read that one of their favorite artists passed away.
not everyone spends 900 hours a week scouring the internet, and just because you read it and think it happened doesn't make you stupid.

Absolutely, I had to write an obit for Chuck Biscuits yesterday, got it up, only to come home several hours later and find out it was a hoax.
Which I suppose ultimately is how these things happen. Each "news agency" wants to appear to be on top of the situation and "in the know" so bang something out (I didn't bang it out, I slaved and gave CB the respect due) and don't bother to fact check, but how do you fact check on the internet? Like really? You need to pick up a phone I suppose. But when an editor says quick - you do quick and worry later.
Anyway, I don't think I'm stupid, I was just had.
At least he's alive.

It was a bit meh... unless Hiddy considers the Boogie man to be his halloween bomb, which would be rad... If I got one, at the moment, I'm a bit let down in the SB Halloween offerings - nothing even glows :(
