sad news. however on the comments section on this page i believe this fan summed it up...

That cereal interview has always been a favorite. It made him someone worth learning about vs. some random drummer to me. I'm gonna eat some Frankenberry in tribute, and I HATE Frankenberry.

I love his video on the different cereals! I too am a monster cereal lover. Too bad he died so young. Quite a talent

I just saw his as I got to S7. I am sincerely bummed. I don't believe in overtly mourning famous people but as a musical Icon he was amazing. one of the best and for me personally one of my drumming idols. How high he sat, how hard he it, I loved it all. I got to see him perform live twice and it was awesome. RIP.

Apparently it is a hoax, and Biscuits is fucking pissed (rightfully so). When I saw the title of the thread I just about fell out of my chair; the original DOA were one of the greatest live bands ever. Glad he's OK.

Well shit. I was gonna say, if he set it up himself I think it's funny kinda. It would make me laugh if he was such an ass to do it for no good reason.

But since someone else did it, it's stupid and not stupid in a funny way. HOWEVER I'm glad dude's alive (assuming it is a hoax, but it seems that way.) Stupid internet. It's like the comic book world spilling over, people die and come back every god damned day.

pushead should pretend he is dead anyways and then I can make a mint off these collectible toys and prints...

holy shit, what a fuckin trip of a story! and whoever pulled the prank was genius! he/she used some tool no one ever heard of to pull this off.

So let's see: this guy posts that Chuck Biscuits died, everybody else picks it up without confirming it, people start expressing doubt, the guy then says that Chuck is alive and he (the blogger) was the victim of a prank. Still missing in all of this (based on the stories I've looked at) is any confirmation of ANYTHING by someone other than this blogger. Personally, I think he made all of this up. That, or he's a grade A moron. The most telling thing he wrote in his retraction/apology:



I love how he tries to act like a solid, by the book journalist. Completely laughable. I have a degree in journalism (I somehow managed to not flunk out of an academic powerhouse like University of Central Florida) that's collecting dust, but I know that if he had any instincts or intelligence, he would have seen through this before it ever got to this point. Is he a huge idiot that was pranked, or is this all his doing? The former is definitely true. I have a feeling there's a good chance of the latter.
