well, what i was getting at was what makes it a secreter.
this one hasn't been referred to as a secreter until the logo was seen on the header card.
i'm not old school enough to know how the og secreters worked, but i always assumed they were secret releases or something. this one wasn't very secretive. it was advertised just like any secret base release...granted, it had the whole "IT IS COMING" thing going for awhile, but the actual image was up a good week or so before it dropped.

It's my understanding that a "secreter" has to do more with a particular Brains look (metallic paint, coloured clear arms, pipe cleaner inserts, multicolour gloves, sublime spray on brains) than it does to it's secretiveness.

Secreter is actually short for "Secreter5," which is printed on the header cards for original 5 Secreter Brains. This is a reference to the 5 heroes in the Astro-Mu series, which sort of correspond to the 5 Secreter Brains. The sixth "Employee" Secreter Brain was also a homage to Devil-Bado, the main villain as I understand it.

I think this Astro Brain just vaulted to the top of the SB sculpts. As long as colorways continue to be top-notch this is the best FF out there.
Although mine has a small paint chip at the nape of the neck on the "helmet", but it's not noticeable unless you are looking at the bottoms of the feet.

So does mine...noticed it yesterday.

More colourways of the same sculpt or new sculpts of others in the series . . . either way works for me!

Yep mine too, but now I know the inner head is made of clear purple vinyl.

Loving the matt black on the chest backing the neon colors, its a very nice contrast. I really need to pick up the first release.
