Lottery?
I think it kind of sucks you have to be a member to get one of those Gams and then it's a lottery.
Especially since those Gams are really the only release to me that have warranted membership.

There's... 10... and aLOT of club members. This is the most fair way to make sure everyone has a shot, especially when I bet there ARE some members who joined to get a stab at these. I'd also disagree with the second half of your statement, but that's probably more of a personal preference thing. I'm KINDA a Nagata fanboy, so I love all the Club releases.

His own releases, alone, more than justifies the $65 membership. If you take into the account that it's a non-expiring membership, it's a great deal. And who's to say there won't be another Target Earth, Zollmen, Anraku class collab in the future around the corner?

But I am surpised that he used the lottery system since there was no mention of it in the first place. The response for these Gameldons must have been crazy overwhelming that Mark felt it necessary to impose the lottery in ensuring equal opportunities for all members.

I admit, I'm not a fan club member and don't know the rules or regulations. Perhaps the fairest way is a lottery, I guess it just comes down to preference, I'm not a lotto fan. I prefer the secret Mishka E-mail method where the fastest fingers win, yeah it sucks when you're not fast enough, but I think hearing that you didn't win a lotto is worse. I kind of feel with a lotto, you can take your time and not worry about it, but if you really want the toy and sit on your e-mail for a day refreshing looking for the e-mail waiting anxiously to beat out the competition you deserve that vinyl.

But you're right, you never know what the fan club release will be, and I didn't know the membership was forever I thought it was yearly. That makes it alot more appealing to me.

It'll never work out Prometheum...you're on the east coast and I'm out here in SF. I've been hurt before by all of the other SB board members I've dated. They're a fickle bunch.

I didn't apply... they were fairly expensive and none of them wowed me. I'm much more content to stick to Nagata handpainted Neo Eyezons
