Beautiful ... it looks like it's been carved from ice and i love the way the light seems to come through the eyes as well. Would love to score one, but I doubt it'll be possible.

every evil bat release has been nothing more than a "meh." reaction, but this one is great!

I was just thinking which lot will be the next re- releases and I thought clear purple is next after the yellow vinyl.... then presto!!

if clear purple vinyl is this months production then I can imagine what's coming as re-releases. i hope I am wrong i hope mori can do something else to the purple vinyl rather than follow what he's released before. it's not that hard to come up with something new right?...but I guess its not just up to him anymore and that's why many changed hands before the announcement of the upcoming re-release.

I was thinking a clear purple reissue might be coming, but we can't be sure. I wouldn't mind one of those figures you got pictured there. I'm still in need of a clear painted w/ shards example.

$60 vs $300, even if the paint isn't AS tight, I think I could live with that. I'd RATHER see it done another way honestly. Doing a matching Mutant would be cooler.

Chaos has an easy answer for re-do's, just use the Beast. I'd love to see some classic Chaos apps on the Beast, the Orange in particular (2nd or 3rd release?) and the GID Jyrinco.

So would re-doing classic apps on either different sculpts or the new MZIII series piss off "OG" collectors? Like the purple Evil bat? I stopped paying attention the the back and forth of this thread so if I missed that topic, soooryyy.

I think we all want the same paint job on another OG.... It would have been a much cleverer idea and also more marketable as a brand.

I don't understand redoing an original then adding an extra part of paint and make money off of it or as another release. Another vinyl is forgivable.

I dunno. I just don't see what the big deal is. These reissues make up probably like less than 1% of the entire line of toys. I don't think it's going to kill RxH or anything. I'm glad there's something for the have-nots (and there's a lot of those).

that's the best version of the new evil sculpt, hands down. And I don't even like clear vinyl that much anymore.
