That Gaezal is really pretty. Is that one of the limited to 5 editions?

Both the painted Shik pieces look great, I am curious about the Gaezal too, love those metallic arm warts.

 Re: J-haul
The Gaezal is a one-off ("Special"). I had been looking for one to add to my Shikaruna family. At this point, I've got to stay to 1 of each character because of space issues, but I'd sure love to grow the brood with more Kappas and Chiyos's!

I have four Shik figures at this point... luckily I am not prone to collecting multiples of a sculpt in general, but I don't see how anyone can handle more than a handful of Shikaruna's "standard sized" figures being such ridiculous shelf hogs. That Gaezal is definitely worth it though! It is my favorite Shik sculpt despite being seemingly less popular than many of their other offerings.

 Re: J-haul
Yeah, I liked the sculpt the second I saw it but am not sure it has received as many great paint apps as some of the other figures. The abstract apps the Shikaruna dudes experiment with seem to work better with figures like Chiyos and Dorol (though I prefer the mini of this guy). Anyway when I saw this half matte/half metallic Gaezal last week, I was stoked, since it really nails the character.

Cool stuff, andy. I just got those yellow RxH figs. I was on the fence about them until I actually saw them in-hand..!

Bagged Fink Shit is tops, followed by the rainbow chaos beast, then the new Secret Base Bling mouth for me.
This reminds me, if I could find a red Fink Shit I would be all set.

 Re: J-haul
I *really* like the smaller Dorol sculpt, but I don't understand why all Dorols are doomed to lives of being in hideous metallic or fluorescent colors. I want a green swampy one with a matte finish and some sludge dripping!

 Re: J-haul
Personally, I prefer the minis over the large Doros which definitely tend to suffer from metallic drip overkill. But the mini is another story. I really love the juxtaposition of the flesh parts with the metallic body. At the Shikaruna studio, I described it as a metallic virus slowly covering the body. They got a kick out of that.

 Re: J-haul
I can't stop looking at that Gaezal Andy. It's got me transfixed. I like the attention to detail on it. The spots on the arms and legs are metallic where as the rest of him appears to be a matte finish. The fading from blue to purple is also really nice, and not a common color pattern. You lucky son of a I FART A LOT!- now isn't that much better than "congrats on the score?"

 Re: J-haul
The Gaezal is brilliant. I am very glad to see that SK is producing masterful paint jobs on older sculpts which are all to often underappreciated until something like this comes along.
