Last week, I picked up the first Evil Bat (metallic red/orange/etc) for 2,000 yen. It's a really nice figure and paint app.

With all the RxH characters and colorways, I seriously don't know how Mori keeps up (or keeps track).

You can look back around the time of SDCC to hear my thoughts when I got my first Evil Bat... love that sculpt, but the original set of colorways were all too similar for me to pick up more than one. The clear purple breaks away from the MZ3 standard style and is loads more awesome for it.

yeah this colorway is a breath of fresh air. I think other than the first release, all the others were on black vinyl (yaaawwwn).

so I got my Evil Bat fix. I don't see myself collecting others, but if the vinyl is someting new, it couldn't hurt!

but I really got my fingers crossed for a GID random-ass hone borg (one day). I miss that dude.

i couldn't agree more.
i went from in complete at the original lulubell image,
then kinda biting my nails @ the other member posted images,
but the returned once i got him in hand.
the rubs are way subtle, moreso in the top of the head (horns? head wings?) i like that when i have him in a regular room lighting and then move him to a super bright area, it's like owning 2 figures. like gid, but without all the light switch flicking.

Chaos Man III... we get to see out first hand attachment and a new head.

See, reissued color on different figure, awesome! Hope we see more of this vs. the "different vinyl" attack, though I like those too I like this idea more.

Is that a purple rub on black vinyl? Looks pretty nice.

Hmmm, I like the Yama head on the RxH body... the main reason that I've not bought any of the Yama figs is that the body seems so forgettable, and the paint jobs don't do much to take advantage of what detail IS there.

Would have liked it better if it wasnt a rub paint job, getting a little burnt out on rub paint jobs. I agree the head does work well with the RxH fighter body.

ooh, I like the colors better on the head than I do the chaosman.

When did this purple mutant head come out? How much did this cost?

Yesterday at Pachikaiuju summit. I'd guess it was regular Japanese retail, but don't know that for a fact.
