The long haul is all well and good, but the chances are you will, at some point, be paying more and supporting someone who bought to flip. As these are all one-offs I'm guessing the prices will be hiked up on the secondary market. There are different types of collectors here. Some seem to revel in the hunt, others like the toys for what they are, and want to be able to enjoy them without having to jump through hoops to get them.
